Role Purpose

As a Houseperson, you play a vital role within the Housekeeping Team, constantly moving to support room attendants and public area cleaners. Your tasks include delivering guest requests promptly, maintaining a steady supply of linens, towels, and amenities to room attendants, and collecting used linens for laundering. Your adaptability and helpful nature ensure a seamless, enjoyable stay experience for guests.

Primary Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest requests by delivering amenities such as beds, cots, pillows, blankets, and collecting items from guest rooms when needed.
• Work closely with housekeeping team members to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
• Collect soiled linens from guest rooms and transport them to designated laundering areas.
• Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public areas when required.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, respect guest privacy and security, and immediately report any maintenance issues observed.
• Provide welcoming and helpful service to guests by addressing questions and concerns and clearly explaining hotel amenities and features.

• Communicate with warmth and friendliness to create a comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.
• Display strong attention to detail and work efficiently while managing time effectively.
• Be physically fit and enjoy active work involving navigating stairs, open pathways, and pushing heavy equipment or trolleys.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team from various backgrounds.
• Have reliable transportation and availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
