CareChoice Ballynoe Nursing Home, a prominent residential facility for the elderly in Ireland, is seeking dedicated full-time or part-time Housekeeping/Kitchen Assistants. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Regular cleaning of communal areas and residents' rooms to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Proper handling, use, and storage of cleaning tools and chemicals.
  • Accurate collection and disposal of waste materials.
  • Immediate management of spillages, including use of wet floor signs as required.
  • Upholding safety standards to ensure a secure environment.
  • Adapting to flexible, rotational duties based on the nursing home's requirements.
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and presentation under Head Chef guidance.
  • Efficiently managing pot and dishwashing tasks.
  • Assisting with food preparation and handling.
  • Promptly reporting any kitchen-related complaints to the Head Chef.
