Role Overview

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, your role extends beyond supervising cleaning operations. You will inspire and encourage your team, deliver training and development, ensure tasks are assigned efficiently, and consistently perform room inspections. Your commitment to detail and high standards will be key to ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and motivate the housekeeping team to uphold cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Actively participate in cleaning duties across various housekeeping spaces when required.
• Deliver training programs, maintain cleanliness standards, and conduct routine inspections of rooms.
• Organize task assignments efficiently and manage inventory to maintain smooth housekeeping operations.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly to guarantee a positive guest stay.
• Assist with budget management and maintain communication with other departments, providing management with performance updates.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong attention to detail and prior experience working in housekeeping roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective time management, coupled with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to maintain smooth daily operations.
• High personal grooming standards and a professional appearance.
• Willing to lead the team as well as work hands-on alongside them to support their success.
