Fort Bay La Sun is a recently launched boutique hotel located in Fort Kochi, Ernakulam, Kerala. We focus on delivering cozy accommodations, personalized guest services, and exceptional hospitality. Our team is being developed to support both our pre-opening phase and ongoing hotel operations.
Job Overview
We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor responsible for managing daily housekeeping tasks to ensure guest rooms and shared areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and orderliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and allocate daily housekeeping assignments to the team.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to verify cleanliness.
- Coordinate room availability and status updates with Front Office personnel.
- Oversee inventory of linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials.
- Coach and mentor housekeeping staff on standard hotel procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues promptly to the maintenance department.
- Address basic housekeeping-related requests from guests.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience, ideally within the hotel industry.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Possession of a diploma in any field is required.
Employment Details
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Fort Kochi, Ernakulam, Kerala.
Compensation
The monthly salary range is INR 15,000 to INR 18,000.
