About the Role
Join the Port Stephens Council in a beautiful location offering a healthy lifestyle surrounded by natural treasures. We are hiring experienced Housekeeping Team Leaders to oversee housekeeping teams at our Holiday Parks located in Shoal Bay and Fingal Bay. This leadership position involves hands-on supervision and active participation in managing systems, processes, and team activities to maintain high cleaning standards in our onsite cabins.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure quality service delivery
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate housekeeping operations and team activities
- Allocate daily cleaning resources and monitor cleaning standards
- Complete general administrative tasks to assist Holiday Park operations
- Participate as a member of the park's leadership team
Requirements
- Certificate III in Cleaning, Housekeeping, Holiday Park Operations or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate small teams effectively
- Extensive experience in cleaning or accommodation industries
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and compliance standards
Work Conditions & Benefits
- Permanent part-time role working between 60 and 76 hours per fortnight on a 7-day rotating roster
- Position available at either Shoal Bay or Fingal Bay Holiday Parks
- Competitive base salary ranging from $56,338 to $63,943 per annum, based on a 30-hour work week, plus 12% superannuation, adverse work allowance, and a $2,023 retention bonus
