Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Haridwar. The Housekeeping staff member will ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of guest accommodations, including rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and communal spaces. Responsibilities encompass dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal. Additionally, the role requires changing linens, making beds, replenishing towels and amenities, and preparing rooms as per company specifications.

The staff should conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety risks and report them immediately. Adhering to stated cleaning procedures and checklists is essential, as is the safe handling of cleaning tools and chemicals. The role also involves courteous interaction with guests, collaboration with colleagues during busy periods, and compliance with organizational policies on health, safety, and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong focus on detail with dedication to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest areas.
• Capability to consistently follow instructions, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and transport cleaning supplies and linens throughout the shift.
• Basic organizational and time management skills to complete tasks effectively.
• Polite and professional demeanor in dealings with guests and team members.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is advantageous but not required.
• Understanding of safe usage practices for cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.
