Job Overview
Housekeeping plays a vital role in facility services by maintaining cleanliness and safety across premises. The role encompasses various tasks to ensure that the environment remains tidy, hygienic, and supportive of smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of floors, walls, windows, and furniture to maintain a welcoming and sanitary space.
- Sanitize frequently touched surfaces regularly to help limit the transmission of germs.
- Organize and replenish cleaning materials, linens, and other necessary supplies, ensuring they are stored neatly.
- Properly handle waste by collecting, disposing, and recycling trash, including safe management of hazardous items.
- Report any facility maintenance or repair needs promptly to management, and keep track of cleaning inventory and equipment status.
