Housekeeping Attendant

Role Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations and various public spaces within the hotel, operating under supervisor directions and abiding by established hotel protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain daily room keys and assignments, organizing cleaning equipment and supplies on the trolley to optimize task efficiency and avoid delays.
• Clean guest rooms thoroughly, restocking room amenities based on the hotel's performance standards.
• Sanitize and replenish bathroom facilities, complying with safety and cleanliness benchmarks.
• Organize and carefully arrange guest belongings during cleaning of rooms and bathrooms.
• Coordinate with Valet Services to arrange laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing services for guest clothing to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in guest corridors, service pantries, and other service areas, ensuring they project a neat, professional image.
• Report any repair or maintenance concerns to the Engineering Department to support upkeep of hotel facilities.
• Attend to guest needs with politeness in all public and private areas, aiming to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Comply with organizational environmental, health, and safety policies and uphold these standards consistently throughout all duties.
