Housekeeping Attendant

Role Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within healthcare facilities such as hospitals and long-term care institutions (CHSLDs) in the Montreal area. Core tasks include cleaning furniture, carpets, floors, restrooms, and other fixtures, along with waste disposal and other supporting duties as assigned. Seasonal duties may also involve the decontamination of healthcare sites to meet infection control requirements.

Qualifications

• Possession of a MAPAQ or hygiene and sanitation certificate is considered a plus.
• Between 1 to 6 months of housekeeping experience specifically in healthcare settings.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written French.
• Previous experience working in a hospital environment is advantageous.
