Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Housekeeping Assistant role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the home to ensure a comfortable environment for residents. The successful applicant will collaborate within a team and also operate independently, demonstrating a strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness standards for the safety and enjoyment of all residents.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in communal areas and residents' rooms.
- Monitor and replenish consumable stock as necessary.
- Support proper waste disposal and management practices.
- Follow and promote safe workplace procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar housekeeping capacity.
- Strong attention to detail in all cleaning activities.
- Ability to effectively multitask and collaborate within a team environment.
- A professional demeanor complemented by a caring attitude.
- Good communication abilities.
- Must possess Garda clearance and provide suitable character references.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
