Key Responsibilities

• Prepare guest areas daily by making beds and removing used linens.
• Clean and maintain dormitory rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and shared areas.
• Handle laundry tasks and manage waste disposal.
• Replenish supplies to maintain site readiness.
• Report any maintenance needs or guest concerns promptly.
  • Work independently and efficiently, especially during busy turnover times.

Candidate Profile

• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• High standards for cleanliness and attention to details.
• Ability to work swiftly during peak changeover periods.
• Comfortable working around hostel guests in a social environment.
• Flexible with shift timings, including availability on weekends.
• Capable of collaborating within a small team as well as working autonomously.

Additional Information

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hotels, hostels, or cleaning is advantageous but not essential.
• The right attitude and trustworthiness are prioritized over experience.
• Position is full-time and based on-site at Edinburgh.
