Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position as a Housekeeper requires maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms and all public areas of the hotel. Responsibilities encompass dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, replenishing linens and amenities, changing bed linens daily, managing laundry items, reporting maintenance concerns, and ensuring compliance with the hotel’s cleanliness and safety protocols. Interaction with guests should be polite and responsive to their needs while collaborating closely with supervisors and colleagues to facilitate smooth daily hotel operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Capability to perform core housekeeping activities such as room cleaning, laundry handling, and basic operation of cleaning tools and products.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to maintain professional guest relations and teamwork.
- Strong organizational ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and sustain cleanliness levels across various areas.
- Willingness to engage in training sessions focused on housekeeping procedures, safety measures, and hotel standards.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality roles is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required by daily duties while adhering to safety best practices.
- Dependability, meticulousness, and dedication to fostering a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for guests.
