Housekeeper

Overview

This housekeeping role requires physical presence at the Banff International Hostel location in Banff, Alberta, Canada, within a hotel, motel, or resort environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in English and have completed secondary school. Experience ranging from 1 month up to less than 7 months is preferred.

Primary Duties

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change linens regularly
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests
• Restock the linen closet with necessary supplies
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Sanitize operating rooms and other key areas
• Manage lost and found items and report appropriately
• Assist guests by providing basic information about facilities
• Collect debris and empty trash containers regularly
• Launder clothing and household linens as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and general cleaning activities
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings carefully
• Maintain cleanliness in changing rooms and showers
• Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner

• Capability to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
