Job description
Role Overview
University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is currently seeking a Housekeeper to support high standards of care across clinical departments, working under the supervision of Registered Nurses. The incumbent will manage daily housekeeping duties, maintain clinical equipment, and ensure optimal stock control within ward environments.
Primary Duties
- Manage and organize daily cleaning schedules and general housekeeping in clinical areas.
- Take responsibility for stock levels, including ordering and maintaining supplies at predetermined levels and locations.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are within expiry dates and follow correct usage order.
- Maintain clean, safe, and tidy environments by regularly rotating stock and putting items away appropriately.
- Utilize Trust IT systems for procurement processes and recording requests, while maintaining accurate spreadsheets.
