Join Our Caring Community at Maiden Castle House
Care South is inviting applications for the position of Housekeeper at Maiden Castle House Care Home located at 12-14 Gloucester Rd, Dorchester DT1 2NJ. This role offers an hourly pay rate of £12.85 with a commitment of 36 hours per week, including alternate weekend shifts.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents throughout the care home.
- Support the cleaning of both communal areas and individual residents' rooms.
- Assist the laundry team with washing, drying, and ironing residents' clothing.
- Adhere strictly to policies and procedures, especially COSHH regulations related to cleaning agents and chemical use.
- Collaborate effectively as a team member to foster a cooperative, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere within the home.
Candidate Profile
Previous experience in a care home is not mandatory; enthusiasm for housekeeping is essential.
- A strong desire to create a fresh and inviting environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to work as part of the broader housekeeping team.
