About the Role

Join the housekeeping team at Spring Wood Lodge, providing essential cleaning services within a service supporting women over 18 with complex emotional and mental health challenges linked to significant risk behaviors. This vital role involves the upkeep of wards, offices, bedrooms, and visitor areas, ensuring all spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness across all facility areas, including clinical and communal spaces.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to uphold a spotless environment.
• Adhere to hospital security protocols by following defined policies and procedures.
• Provide professional telephone and visitor reception etiquette.
• Contribute as an active team member managing daily operational tasks.
• Foster positive workplace relationships with staff, visitors, and service users.
• Support a positive organizational culture and undertake additional related duties as assigned.
• Participate in all mandatory and statutory training annually as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience cleaning in a similar healthcare or residential environment.
• A genuine satisfaction in performing cleaning tasks to a high standard.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and cleanliness.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and address issues promptly.

Work Location and Schedule

Position based at Spring Wood Lodge, 1 Towngate Close, Guiseley, Leeds LS20 9PQ, a service dedicated to women with severe mental health diagnoses and complex needs. The role includes weekend shifts organized on a monthly rotation.

• Annual salary of A325,564.50.
