Job description

Role Overview

Join Disneyland Resort as a Guest Services Assistant and be a key part of creating magical experiences for Guests by assisting them during hotel check-in and check-out processes. You will provide valuable information about Disneyland Resort services, activities, and the greater Southern California area to enhance their stay.

Primary Duties

  • Engage proactively with Guests to anticipate needs, deliver helpful answers, and provide directions and event schedules regarding Disneyland Resort and surrounding Hotels.
  • Deliver exceptional Guest service via phone and in-person interactions across multiple locations.
  • Manage Guest check-in and check-out transactions efficiently.
  • Address Guest concerns and collaborate discreetly with Cast Members to resolve issues, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Operate various electronic devices during shifts including iPads, iPhones, handheld radios, and desktop computers.
  • Handle financial transactions involving cash, credit cards, foreign currency, and vouchers responsibly.
  • Remain composed under stressful scenarios and be knowledgeable about emergency procedures.
  • Stationed at the Front Desk as a key point of contact for processing all payments and documentation during Guest check-in.

Basic Qualifications

  • Maintain a positive attitude regardless of the task at hand.
  • Experience handling cash and proficiency in navigating multiple computer applications simultaneously.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact clearly and effectively with Guests and team members.
  • Motivated and capable of completing repetitive tasks while maintaining high quality.
  • A sincere passion for providing excellent service and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Open and responsive to accommodating special Guest requests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a Hotel or Front Desk role.
  • Familiarity with OPERA hotel property management software.
  • Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is preferred.
  • Availability to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with full flexibility.

Additional Information

Scheduling: The Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24/7 year-round. Shifts may begin as early as 5:00 AM or end as late as 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM. Some roles may require overnight (graveyard) shifts. Scheduling is based on seniority principles.

Compensation: The pay rate for this position in California is $29.75 per hour.
