Overview

This role at Marriott International involves more than just ensuring guests a clean room and fresh bedding. The Hotel Cleanliness Expert, also known as Guest Environment Expert, plays a pivotal role in sustaining the overall appearance and hygiene of the entire hotel. Operating with autonomy within their designated areas, these experts handle tasks such as fulfilling guest requests, restocking housekeeping trolleys, cleaning guest rooms and public areas, all to cultivate an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the hotel premises.
• Respond efficiently to guest needs and requests related to housekeeping.
• Manage stocking and organization of cleaning carts and supplies.
• Clean guest rooms and public spaces attentively and thoroughly.
• Comply with safety policies and company procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
• Uphold company confidentiality and maintain professionalism in appearance and communication at all times.
• Engage in physical activities including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned to meet business and guest satisfaction goals.

• Ability to sustain physical activity involving prolonged standing, walking, and manual handling of loads within specified weight limits.
• Commitment to follow rigorous cleanliness and safety standards.
