Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, adhering to IBIS's service standards.
• Oversee seating arrangements, table assignments, and manage the flow of guests, balancing reservations and walk-ins efficiently.
• Collaborate with the food and beverage service team to meet guest needs and expectations effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu offerings, special promotions, seating plans, and guest preferences.
• Address guest questions, feedback, or concerns with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
• Keep the host stand and reception tidy and welcoming throughout service periods.
• Accurately manage reservations through the restaurant's booking systems, recording guest information and seating configurations.
• Verify reservation details and promptly share updates with relevant staff members.
• Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, assisting guests with inquiries and reservation bookings.
• Work closely with kitchen and service crews to ensure optimal service coordination.
• Support auxiliary tasks such as menu preparation, table resetting, and upkeep of the restaurant’s entrance area.
• Adhere to IBIS's grooming standards, presenting a confident and professional image representative of the brand.
• Observe all health, safety, hygiene regulations, and company service policies.
• Promote teamwork by engaging in effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferably at least one year of experience in guest-facing roles or hospitality sectors.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; qualifications related to hospitality are advantageous.
• Fluent English communication skills are essential; proficiency in Arabic is strongly preferred.
• Exhibit a confident, friendly, and professional demeanor, passionate about delivering exceptional guest service.
• Capable of managing high-pressure service times while maintaining composure, organization, and attentiveness.
• Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance consistent with IBIS brand standards.
