Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Host/Hostess will be responsible for seating guests promptly and warmly in the dining area, providing an enjoyable dining experience by maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Key tasks include greeting and guiding guests to tables, handling customer service situations, supervising dining room activities, food-handling and sanitation compliance, training new team members, closing duties, and supporting food service and bussing as needed. The role also involves knowledge of emergency safety procedures and collaboration with other departments during special events.
Requirements
- Prior experience in hosting and customer service is mandatory.
- Open availability with flexible days and hours as scheduled.
- Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate patience, flexibility, and sensitivity, especially regarding confidential personal or medical information.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a fixed wage of $21.91 per hour. Select locations provide free meals, uniforms, and laundering services.
