Role Overview

The hostess is responsible for welcoming guests warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and attended to throughout their visit. Key duties include managing reservations, responding to guest inquiries, and maintaining professional service standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Arrive punctually and maintain a neat, proper uniform at all times.
• Greet guests politely and guide them to their seats to create a welcoming environment.
• Answer phone calls, handle reservations efficiently, and address guest questions comprehensively.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene consistently.
• Ensure effective coordination with fellow restaurant staff to foster positive teamwork.
• Keep menu cards well-stocked, organized, and in excellent condition.
• Assist with food and beverage service when necessary.
• Perform additional daily side duties as directed by supervisors such as Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or Captain.
• Offer courteous and professional customer service throughout.
• Support visitors by attending to their needs and taking their orders.
• Provide informed recommendations and menu suggestions to guests.
