Hostel Supervisor/Incharge

Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible male Supervisor to oversee operations at Royal Palace Men's Hostel located in Padi, Chennai (600050). Accommodation is offered on-site at the hostel. The salary range is between ₹18,000 and ₹20,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities and functionality of the hostel.
• Address and resolve residents' inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Ensure maintenance of discipline and cleanliness throughout the premises.
• Manage allocation of rooms including handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Collect rent from residents and maintain fundamental financial records.
• Coordinate tasks with housekeeping and maintenance departments to maintain hostel facilities.
• Monitor and enhance security features within the hostel.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Male candidates preferred for the role.
• Previous experience in hostel, paying guest accommodations, or hotel management is desirable.
• Ability to read and write in English is mandatory.
• Basic communication skills in Tamil, Hindi, or English are advantageous.
• Must exhibit responsibility, trustworthiness, and strong capability to manage resident interactions.
• Willingness to reside on the hostel premises is required.
