Role Summary

As a Host, you are the initial point of contact for all guests, making it essential to convey a warm and positive first impression right at the entrance. You will welcome guests, escort them to their seats, and notify them using the pager system. Additionally, you will act as a guide, entertainer, decision helper, memorabilia expert, and, at heart, a musician.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening doors when necessary;
• Greeting and thanking guests warmly;
• Responding accurately and politely to guest inquiries;
• Maintaining an organized and clean waiting area;
• Answering phone calls professionally;
• Guiding guests to various areas within the restaurant;
• Ensuring the security of employees, guests, and VIPs;
• Supporting servers, bussers, and managers;
• Setting up and clearing workstations along with supplementary tasks including cleaning windows, polishing metal surfaces, sweeping and vacuuming floors, cleaning menus, and checking guest restrooms;
• Guaranteeing guest satisfaction;
• Creating memorable Hard Rock Cafe experiences;
• Providing guest care aligned with the Hard Rock motto.

Requirements

• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, lifting, and standing for extended periods;
• Well-groomed appearance;
• Adherence to uniform policies;
• Compliance with safety and hygiene standards;
• Commitment to recycling waste whenever possible;
• Calm demeanor and ability to maintain composure during busy periods;
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency;
• Positive and open attitude towards guests and colleagues;
• Strict observance of the five Hard Rock Cafe core values and mission statement.
