About the Role
OroFace Dental and EyeLens Hospital is seeking a seasoned Hospital General Manager to oversee the entire spectrum of non-clinical operations, administration, and business growth activities. This role demands full responsibility for the smooth execution of hospital administration along with fostering expansion and efficiency.
Key Duties
- Oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the hospital.
- Manage front desk, patient coordination, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Recruit, train, and supervise all non-clinical personnel.
- Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational discipline.
- Drive sales, patient conversion rates, follow-up management, and boost revenue growth.
- Plan and oversee digital marketing, local outreach, and referral marketing strategies.
- Monitor leads, appointments, conversion statistics, revenue streams, and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Manage relationships with vendors, control procurement, maintain inventory, and ensure facility upkeep.
- Handle billing, accounts, collections, expense tracking, and implement financial controls.
- Address patient complaints and resolve administrative escalations effectively.
- Coordinate legal, licensing, statutory, and regulatory matters with experts to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with doctors and clinical teams to maintain seamless operational workflows.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for the Founder/Director.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and take corrective actions proactively.
- Expand business through new opportunities, corporate partnerships, and referral networks.
- Maintain high standards of patient service quality, cleanliness, discipline, and professionalism.
- Take full ownership of overall hospital performance, including operational effectiveness and financial goals.
Candidate Profile
- Graduation required; MBA or degree in Hospital/Healthcare Management preferred.
- Minimum 5 years, preferably up to 10+ years, of experience in hospital, dental, ophthalmology, or healthcare operations.
- Strong leadership abilities coupled with excellent communication and people management skills.
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, and business development within the healthcare domain.
- Sound understanding of administrative procedures, vendor relations, and operational management.
- Good grasp of financial control mechanisms and Management Information Systems.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and target-driven with capability to work independently.
- Ability to handle multiple departments and exercise complete ownership of operations.

The incumbent will ensure smooth hospital workflows allowing clinical staff to concentrate on medical services and strategic development.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from INR 20,000 to INR 30,000.
