About the Role
Jeena Sikho Lifecare Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and well-organized Hospital Coordinator to facilitate seamless interaction among patients, doctors, nursing personnel, and administrative teams. This role emphasizes smooth patient facilitation, coordination across departments, and supporting admission and discharge processes while upholding excellent service standards within the hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharge processes coordinating closely with medical and nursing teams.
- Serve as the main communication link between patients, doctors, nursing staff, front desk, billing, and diagnostic units.
- Guide patients and their attendants through hospital procedures, documentation, and service directions.
- Monitor patient flow to ensure timely medical consultations, diagnostic tests, and treatments.
- Assist doctors during ward rounds by organizing relevant patient information and medical updates.
- Address patient feedback, complaints, and service issues, escalating critical concerns appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with hospital standard operating procedures, protocols, and quality guidelines.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records related to patient coordination and daily hospital operations.
- Coordinate support services including housekeeping, pharmacy, and diagnostics to meet patient requirements.
- Protect patient confidentiality and adhere strictly to ethical healthcare standards.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in hospital coordination, patient services, or healthcare operations is preferred.
- Experience in hospital or clinical settings is a valuable advantage.
- Graduation in any discipline is required.
- Additional qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or related fields are preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Effective coordination skills to liaise across multiple departments.
- A patient-focused approach with strong service orientation.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with basic computer operations including MS Office and hospital information systems.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under stressful situations.
