Role Overview

This full-time, remote Home Inspector position involves conducting thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include evaluating structural integrity, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and safety components, while creating detailed and clear reports. Daily tasks encompass scheduling inspections, communicating findings and recommendations to clients and real estate professionals, addressing inquiries to facilitate informed decisions, and maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards. Inspectors will utilize company tools and systems to guarantee quality service and represent the brand professionally within their communities, including engaging in networking and business development to expand client relationships.

Key Qualifications

  • Competence in performing comprehensive property inspections evaluating building systems and overall condition.
  • Knowledge or experience in property management principles related to maintenance, asset management, and occupancy.
  • Proficiency in business development activities such as networking with Realtors and property owners to increase referral sources.
  • Exceptional customer service skills focusing on clear, professional communication and educating clients about inspection findings.
  • Strong attention to detail and observational abilities to produce accurate and timely reports.
  • Capability to work independently, manage scheduling, and prioritize multiple inspection assignments in a remote setting.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to access inspection sites.
  • Certification or licensing as a Home Inspector, or willingness to obtain such credentials, complying with regional regulations and industry standards.
  • Basic proficiency with digital tools including mobile devices, inspection software, and online communication platforms.
