Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

Iceland Foods is seeking dedicated Home Delivery Drivers to provide excellent customer service while delivering groceries across the West Midlands. This position involves active, independent work with direct customer interaction, representing Iceland as the face of our delivery service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe loading of delivery vans, including heavy lifting and proper manual handling techniques.
• Follow all road safety and safe driving practices consistently.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and during delivery rounds.
• Maintain the quality and condition of food items during delivery to customers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, engaging positively with customers during each delivery.
• Support in-store tasks when necessary.
• Manage your time independently and work effectively with shift patterns that may vary between 6am and 11pm.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• A positive, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong punctuality and ability to meet deadlines reliably.
• Heightened awareness of road safety and defensive driving.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage of £13.71.
