Home Delivery Driver

Position Overview

Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver for our Newtownabbey location. This role involves delivering groceries directly to customers, maintaining high standards of safety and customer service while representing the company as the delivery face.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow safe loading practices including manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Adhere strictly to all safe driving standards and regulations.
• Conduct necessary vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Guarantee the delivery of food items in excellent condition to customers.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries.
• Assist within the store whenever required.
• Work independently managing time effectively with flexibility to cover shifts between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least three years without more than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, friendly attitude with a passion for excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Have a strong commitment to road safety awareness.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage at £13.71.
