About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic Home Delivery Drivers who value staying active and enjoy engaging with customers. As a representative of a leading grocery company recognized as one of the Best Big Companies to Work For, you will be responsible for delivering shopping orders safely and providing a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Load the delivery van safely, adhering to correct manual handling practices and involving heavy lifting as required.
• Follow safe driving standards at all times to ensure safety on the road.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks before starting deliveries to maintain vehicle safety and reliability.
• Deliver food orders ensuring they arrive in optimal condition to customers.
• Offer outstanding customer service by positively interacting and supporting customers during deliveries.
• Assist with in-store duties when necessary.
• Work independently managing your time effectively throughout shift hours.
• Maintain flexibility to work varying shifts between 6 AM and 11 PM.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full driving license held for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Positive, personable attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Reliable and punctual, able to meet deadlines and shift schedules.
• Strong awareness of road safety regulations and best practices.
