Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

We are looking for dedicated Home Delivery Drivers to join our team at Iceland Foods in Wakefield, UK. This role involves actively delivering grocery orders while serving as the face of the company, ensuring customers receive their orders with excellent service and in great condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow safe loading procedures for the van, including handling heavy items safely.
• Practice safe driving standards consistently while on the road.
• Perform routine vehicle checks before and during shifts.
• Maintain the quality and condition of food deliveries until handover to customers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, being friendly and approachable.
• Assist with in-store duties when necessary.
• Manage time effectively and work independently to complete delivery routes.
• Be flexible to work varying shifts, potentially between 6 am and 11 pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Show a positive, cheerful, and customer-focused attitude.
• Be punctual and able to meet deadlines consistently.
• Have a strong emphasis on road safety awareness.
