HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Overview

Meachers Global Logistics, a prominent independent freight and logistics provider in the UK, is seeking full-time Class 1 Tramper HGV drivers to join their team based in Derby. This role is ideal for both newly qualified and experienced drivers who hold the necessary licenses and demonstrate excellent professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HGV vehicles for general haulage duties, following scheduled transport assignments.
• Maintain continuous communication with clients, customers, and internal staff to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Exhibit professionalism and uphold high standards in all interactions.

Requirements

• Possess a British driving license with Class 1 qualification.
• Hold a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and Digital Tachograph card.
• License must have no more than six penalty points and no previous Dangerous or Disqualified endorsements.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom; visa sponsorship not available.

Additional Information
