HGV Class 1 Driver

About the Role

Kinaxia Logistics Limited is seeking experienced and safety-conscious HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their Worcester location. Working Patterns and Compensation

• Work schedules available: Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday shifts
• Shift start times vary between 11:00 PM and 2:00 AM during weekdays
• Annual earnings typically reach £45,000, inclusive of basic pay, bonuses, shift premiums, and overtime
• 30 days of paid leave including bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle with safety, legality, and efficiency as priorities
• Ensure punctual completion of all scheduled deliveries and collections
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any defects
• Adhere strictly to company policies and comply with EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintain detailed and accurate operational records and coordinate effectively with the transport team
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Candidate Qualifications

• Possession of a valid C+E (Class 1) driving license
• Current Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card
• Comprehensive knowledge of EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive legislation
• No more than six penalty points on driving license; disqualification codes TT, DD, or DR are not permitted
• Strong commitment to safety coupled with excellent communication abilities
• Applicants with ex-forces backgrounds are particularly encouraged due to their alignment with the company's values of discipline and attention to detail
