Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Heavy Vehicle Driver to manage the transportation of paper roll orders from our company premises to customers efficiently and safely in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This role involves handling, loading, unloading, and timely delivery while maintaining vehicle condition and adhering to all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport paper roll orders from the company to customers promptly and securely.
• Gather orders or materials from suppliers as needed.
• Perform safe loading and unloading of paper rolls.
• Verify order quantities and details prior to delivery.
• Collect delivery documentation, such as invoices or payments, when required.
• Keep the vehicle well-maintained and operational.
• Follow all traffic regulations and safety guidelines strictly.
• Provide assistance with additional delivery-related tasks as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid driving licence.
• Previous experience in driving or delivery roles is preferred.
• Good familiarity with routes across Chennai.
• Physical capability to handle heavy paper rolls and materials safely.
• Demonstrated responsibility, punctuality, and trustworthiness.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging between 20,000 and 25,000 INR.
