Role Overview

This full-time, on-site role requires operating heavy trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently between set locations according to predetermined routes and schedules. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections before and after trips; ensuring cargo is properly loaded, unloaded, and secured to prevent damage; adhering to transportation and road safety regulations; maintaining trip logs and delivery documents; promptly reporting any mechanical issues or incidents; and communicating with dispatch and warehouse personnel to support timely deliveries. The driver will represent WINTECH professionally at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Experienced in handling heavy trucks with expertise in managing local or long-distance routes.
• Holding a valid CDL Class A or an equivalent heavy vehicle license applicable in Qatar.
• Knowledgeable about DOT or equivalent local transport and road safety regulations and committed to their consistent application.
• Proficient in safe loading, unloading, and cargo securing techniques.
• Possess a clean driving record and emphasize safety in all driving activities.
• Capable of understanding and following delivery instructions, route plans, and basic paperwork in English; additional languages are beneficial.
• Physically capable of sitting for long durations, manual cargo handling, and working under varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, and flexible with work hours including the possibility of evenings or weekends.
