About the Role

Join Contact Care, a reputable Irish healthcare provider dedicated to delivering compassionate and personalised home care services across Dublin. We focus on supporting older adults and individuals with long-term disabilities to live with dignity, respect, and independence in their own homes.

Job Details

  • Location: Various locations in Dublin, Ireland
  • Employment Type: Contract or Permanent
  • Salary: €15.00 to €18.00 per hour
  • Language Requirement: Fluent English
  • Flexible hours: part-time and full-time options that fit your availability
  • Typical shift times: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 13:00 or 17:00 – 22:00; full day shifts on weekends

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal and social care to clients in their homes.
  • Support clients’ independence by promoting dignity and respect through person-centred care.
  • Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and companionship.
  • Follow and document individualised care plans with accuracy.
  • Comply with infection control, health and safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and managers to maintain high standards of care.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Possess or be working towards a QQI Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Healthcare Support, including completed modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Show attributes such as reliability, trustworthiness, and strong commitment to client care.
  • Ability to provide professional or character references and successfully complete Garda Vetting.
  • Previous care experience is advantageous but not mandatory if required modules are completed.
