About the Role

Job Details
- Location: Various locations in Dublin, Ireland
- Employment Type: Contract or Permanent
- Salary: €15.00 to €18.00 per hour
- Language Requirement: Fluent English
- Flexible hours: part-time and full-time options that fit your availability
- Typical shift times: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 13:00 or 17:00 – 22:00; full day shifts on weekends
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal and social care to clients in their homes.
- Support clients’ independence by promoting dignity and respect through person-centred care.
- Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and companionship.
- Follow and document individualised care plans with accuracy.
- Comply with infection control, health and safety protocols, and company policies.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to maintain high standards of care.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Possess or be working towards a QQI Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Healthcare Support, including completed modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Show attributes such as reliability, trustworthiness, and strong commitment to client care.
- Ability to provide professional or character references and successfully complete Garda Vetting.
- Previous care experience is advantageous but not mandatory if required modules are completed.
