Health Coach

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Health Coach to assist members in their health and wellness journeys. This position involves using motivational interviewing combined with structured behavior change techniques to support clients in developing sustainable health habits.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct individual coaching sessions via video calls, phone, or messaging platforms.
• Create customized health and wellness plans for members.
• Utilize motivational interviewing methods to facilitate behavior change discussions.
• Monitor member progress, engagement, and outcomes consistently.
• Collaborate with clinical personnel for members requiring advanced support.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation within the coaching platform.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

• Certification in health coaching such as NBC-HWC, ACSM, ACE Health Coach, or an equivalent credential.
• Minimum of two years' experience in health, fitness, nutrition, or wellness coaching.
• In-depth knowledge of motivational interviewing and behavior change principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with an empathetic approach.
• Proficiency in telehealth technologies and digital coaching tools.
• A bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline is advantageous but not mandatory.
