About Donegal Golf Club
Situated on the picturesque Murvagh peninsula in South Donegal, Donegal Golf Club offers a links golf experience along one of Europe's longest courses, extending over 7000 yards from the championship tees. Designed by famed Irish architect Eddie Hackett and often dubbed the “Muirfield of Ireland,” the course provides a challenging yet pleasant walk. Nestled amidst the Atlantic Ocean, Donegal Bay, and a designated Special Area of Conservation, the club boasts stunning coastal scenery and a unique natural environment. The area's rich local and ancient history adds to the special ambiance enjoyed by members, guests, and staff. Proudly recognized as one of golfer Darren Clarke's favourite courses, it draws players desiring top-quality golf in an extraordinary location.

Responsibilities include overseeing machinery maintenance and safe usage, handling inputs such as fertilisers and topdressing, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Maintaining open communication with club leadership regarding course status, scheduled works, and tournament preparations is integral to the position.

- Strong organisational skills for managing budgets, inventory, and long-term course development documentation.
- Excellent communication abilities for liaising with club management, professional staff, and reporting on course conditions and future projects.
- Relevant qualifications in greenkeeping, turf management, horticulture, or equivalent practical experience in a senior greenkeeping capacity.
