About the Role
A growing upper casual dining group in Qatar seeks an experienced culinary leader to manage kitchen operations across multiple locations. This role involves ensuring consistent food quality, supporting restaurant openings, and driving operational standards as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen functions across several restaurant sites, ensuring brand standards and consistency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to uphold high standards in food prep, presentation, and service.
- Support new restaurant launch activities including pre-opening tasks.
- Create and enforce kitchen standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain quality, hygiene, safety, and compliance standards.
- Oversee inventory control, food cost management, waste minimization, and kitchen efficiency.
- Collaborate with front of house and senior management to deliver uniform guest experiences.
- Contribute to menu planning, seasonal offerings, and culinary innovations aligned with brand vision.
- Ensure adherence to local food safety laws and internal policies.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven multi-unit management experience handling more than one restaurant location.
- Prior involvement in pre-opening and launching new outlets.
- Deep knowledge of kitchen operations, food quality standards, consistency, and cost control.
- Strong leadership capabilities in training and developing kitchen teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of HACCP, food hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in the GCC is preferred.
