About the Role

Adare Manor is looking to add a Head Baker to its award-winning culinary team. Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef, this position oversees the full bakery production for the Manor, The Carriage House, and banqueting operations.

The resort offers a wide-ranging dining experience, from its Michelin-starred restaurant, The Oak Room, to afternoon tea service and large-scale special events. Banquet service can cater for up to 350 guests, so this is a high-volume kitchen role that requires strong experience working in busy luxury hotel environments.

The ideal candidate will have previously handled comparable production levels in 5-star hotels and be comfortable maintaining quality, consistency, and efficiency across all bakery output.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Managing the daily production of all bakery items required across the Manor, The Carriage House, and banquet services.
  • Ensuring bakery output meets the standards expected in a luxury, high-volume hospitality setting.
  • Supporting service for a variety of dining formats, including fine dining, afternoon tea, and large functions.
  • Maintaining consistency, quality, and timely delivery of bakery products for a capacity of up to 350 guests at events.
  • Working closely with the Executive Pastry Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This role suits a baker with prior experience in similarly demanding production environments, particularly within 5-star hotels. The candidate should be confident handling large volumes, operating in a fast-paced kitchen, and contributing to a team focused on excellence.
