About the Position
We are seeking an experienced HCM Applications Manager to oversee and guide the deployment, customization, integration, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, specifically Oracle Fusion HCM and Workday. This role requires close collaboration with Human Resources, Finance, and IT departments to deliver efficient HR technology solutions, ensure system reliability, maintain regulatory compliance, and promote effective user engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive implementation and setup of HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence Management, and Talent Management.
- Customize business logic, workflows, approval chains, and system procedures to align with organizational needs.
- Convert HR operational requirements into practical technical frameworks and solutions.
- Oversee integration processes between HCM platforms and external third-party systems.
- Create reports, dashboards, and system add-ons utilizing tools like OTBI and BI Publisher.
- Manage data migration and transformation from older systems to new platforms.
- Identify and resolve complex functional and technical challenges within the HCM environment.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression tests, and verification of security roles and access rights.
- Deliver training programs and provide support to HR super users to maximize system utilization.
- Ensure all systems comply with pertinent financial, HR, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain thorough documentation including system configurations, process notes, and setup guides.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of eight years' experience in implementing and supporting HCM software applications.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on work with Oracle Fusion HCM and/or Workday platforms.
- Practical experience covering multiple HR functional areas: Payroll, Time & Attendance, Benefits, and Talent Management.
- Proficient in technical tools such as SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL, HCM Extract, VBCS, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Power BI.
- Strong expertise in managing HCM integrations and conducting data migration projects.
- Capable of working collaboratively with HR, Finance, and IT cross-functional teams.
- Holding Oracle or Workday certifications is favorable.
- Experience dealing with payroll and HR compliance across multiple countries is a significant advantage.
