Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hausmeister (caretaker) to join our team at the ibis Leipzig City hotel. This role is integral to maintaining the condition and functionality of our hotel premises, supporting the facility technician in various operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform caretaking duties and continuously monitor the state of the property.
• Carry out small repairs promptly to maintain hotel infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspection rounds both inside and outside the premises.
• Document energy data and monitor consumption patterns.
• Supervise all building services and technical facilities.
• Oversee work carried out by external service providers, ensuring quality and compliance.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Preferably completed vocational training in a relevant manual trade.
• Ability to act independently, with vigilance to detect necessary maintenance tasks.
• Good manual skills combined with a dependable work ethic.
• Proficient German language skills, basic knowledge of English; additional foreign languages are an asset.
