About the Role
As a Hausmann at the Clayton Hotel Tiergarten Berlin, you play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable experience in a well-maintained hotel environment. Supporting the housekeeping team, you will maintain cleanliness in public areas and ensure that laundry and materials are available where needed. Your dependable work and attention to detail contribute significantly to guest satisfaction every day.
Pre-Opening Involvement
During the pre-opening phase, you will actively participate with your team in preparing the hotel for its first guests. This includes setting up laundry storage and material rooms and becoming familiar with our operational procedures. You will be an integral part of our team from the outset, contributing to a successful launch.

Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and care of public spaces including lobby, corridors, elevators, and public restrooms.
- Receive clean laundry, distribute it across floors, and prepare used laundry for collection.
- Organize laundry and material storage areas and supply housekeeping teams with necessary tools.
- Assist with practical tasks and guest requests such as providing extra towels, guest items, or baby and rollaway beds.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards and report any damages or technical issues to the relevant department.
Candidate Requirements
- Willingness to actively engage in physical tasks, reliable with a strong eye for cleanliness and orderliness.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning is advantageous, but career changers are welcome.
- Physically robust, meticulous, and responsible in handling materials and tools.
- Friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues, willing to work in shifts including weekends and holidays.
