About the Role

We are seeking experienced operators to join our team at a reputable coal mine located west of Rockhampton, Queensland. This long-term opportunity offers stable mining employment with an extensive mine life exceeding 15 years. The position includes work on CAT 793 haul trucks or larger equipment and multi-skilled operation of other heavy mobile plant machinery within a 7-days-on, 7-days-off roster structure.

Position Highlights

• Work a 7/7 roster, balancing equal time on-site and at home
• 12.5-hour rotating shifts covering days and nights

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 793 haul trucks or larger heavy mining equipment efficiently and safely
• Utilize skills across multiple heavy mobile plants such as dozers, graders, excavators, and loaders
• Maintain compliance with all relevant site safety policies and procedures
• Complete all operational tasks with a strong focus on health and safety standards

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience operating CAT 793 haul trucks or larger within a mining environment
• Multi-skilled in handling additional heavy machinery like dozers, graders, excavators, or loaders
• Possession of signed transcripts confirming qualifications for all operated equipment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and site compliance
• Successful pass in Drug and Alcohol screening
• Possession of Standard 11 Mine Induction or willingness to obtain
• Queensland Coal Board Medical certification or readiness to acquire the same
