About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in egg setting and transfer operations.
• Manage chick take-off and the subsequent processing tasks.
• Perform various cleaning responsibilities to maintain hatchery hygiene.
• Adhere strictly to biosecurity and animal welfare protocols, including shower-in, shower-out procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be physically fit and capable of standing throughout the workday.
• Willingness to commit to a minimum employment period of six months.
• Compliance with industry biosecurity standards; no keeping of pet birds, poultry, or pigs, and restrictions on cohabiting with poultry or pig farming workers.
• Positive team player with reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Able to tolerate working conditions involving dust and noise with protective equipment provided.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Prior factory, production, or farming experience is a plus, though not mandatory as full training is given.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a car is essential due to absence of public transportation options.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Permanent full-time role with hours arranged as four 9.5-hour days starting from 5:30 AM.
• Early afternoon finish and three consecutive days off each week.
• Potential opportunities to work additional hours, with some weekend shifts when required.
• Hourly wage starting at $30.61.
