Hardware & Network Engineer Faculty

Overview

We are seeking an experienced faculty member to deliver comprehensive training in Hardware & Networking, AWS Cloud Computing, Red Hat Linux, and Active Directory. This role involves practical and theoretical instruction, guiding students through real-world infrastructure and cloud computing scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and hands-on sessions covering Computer Hardware & Networking concepts.
• Teach network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VPN, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Provide practical training in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), focusing on Linux administration, user management, permissions, services, storage, SSH, and shell scripting.
• Instruct students on Windows Server and Active Directory components such as Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, Organizational Units, user and group management, and Group Policy.
• Deliver AWS cloud training covering EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, Security Groups, and CloudWatch services.
• Develop lab exercises, assignments, projects, assessments, and prepare course materials including presentations and practical manuals.
• Guide students with real-world infrastructure and cloud case studies and troubleshoot lab environment issues.
• Facilitate mock interviews and technical sessions geared towards placement preparation.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), Computer Applications (BCA/MCA), Computer Science (B.Sc./M.Sc.) or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, RHCSA/RHCE, and AWS Certifications, are advantageous.
• Prior experience in IT industry roles or faculty/training positions is preferred.
• Proficiency in hardware and networking fundamentals, Cisco routing and switching technologies, Windows Server, Active Directory, Red Hat Linux administration at RHCSA level, AWS Cloud services, and basic scripting using Bash or PowerShell.
• Strong communication skills suited for classroom instruction and training.
