Position Purpose

The Handyman role entails managing and executing diverse repairs across the facility. Responsibilities include various trade and maintenance tasks requiring strong repair skills, organizational ability, and efficient time management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and light repair jobs consistently.
• Carry out assorted maintenance duties regularly.
• Repair equipment, machines, and appliances as needed.
• Identify, log, and report maintenance and repair requirements.
• Address clients' maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Provide minor painting services within the facility.
• Recommend additional repairs when identified during inspections.
• Fulfill other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Education and Experience

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• At least two years of relevant work experience in a comparable role.
• Proficient in handling hardware tools and power equipment safely and effectively.

• Adept at problem-solving in maintenance contexts.

Physical Demands

• Extended periods of standing and walking during work shifts.
• Capability to lift and climb as necessary, with lifting requirements up to 40 pounds.
• Use of hands for fine motor skills, handling, and touching.
• Reaching with hands and arms regularly.
• Good hearing and speaking ability for communication.
