Job Overview
This full-time role seeks a skilled individual proficient in various mechanical and handyman tasks to support maintenance and repair operations within a building environment located at 505 Fifth Avenue, NYC.
Key Responsibilities
- Expertly repair, maintain, and troubleshoot flooring and carpeting issues.
- Perform painting, plastering, drywall repair, and installation of wall coverings.
- Handle repairs and maintenance of household appliances, windows, and doors.
- Conduct electrical system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Address domestic water, sewage, and gas plumbing repairs and upkeep.
- Service and maintain heating systems including boilers.
- Facilitate front-of-house meetings and interactions with contractors and tenants concerning maintenance and repair matters.
Requirements
- Possess basic to advanced mechanical and handy-person skills related to the tasks outlined above.
- Ability to engage effectively with building tenants and contractors in discussions regarding maintenance issues.
- Necessary certifications relevant to the handyman functions are required.
