Role Summary

The position of Gynecologist - MOH/SHA is a permanent, full-time role based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates, requiring on-site presence. The incumbent will deliver comprehensive medical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings specializing in gynecology and obstetrics. This includes patient consultation, diagnosis, treatment planning, ongoing follow-up, routine physical examinations, managing pregnancy and childbirth processes, performing gynecological procedures and surgeries, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for superior patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform routine gynecological examinations and manage comprehensive care related to pregnancy and childbirth.
• Conduct gynecological surgeries and related medical procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of medical records for all patients.
• Comply with MOH/SHA healthcare regulations and clinical standards.
• Provide counseling focused on preventive healthcare and reproductive health education to patients.
• Engage in clinical governance and continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards.

Qualifications and Expertise

• Possession of MBBS or equivalent medical degree and successful completion of residency or board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Proven clinical skills and knowledge in Medicine, Gynecology, and specialized expertise in Obstetrics encompassing antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Competency in gynecological and relevant general surgeries pertinent to women's health.
• Valid and current MOH/SHA license or eligibility for obtaining licensure within the UAE.
• Experience working in hospital or clinical environments, demonstrating safe, evidence-based medical practice.
• Outstanding communication skills, a patient-focused demeanor, cultural awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional education, strict adherence to ethical protocols, and compliance with local healthcare laws.
