Role Overview
The Guest Service Associate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service within a multiplex cinema environment. This role encompasses assisting patrons with ticketing, providing information on showtimes, managing concessions, ushering, and ensuring overall theater maintenance and safety.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome customers and attend courteously to their inquiries.
- Assist guests in purchasing tickets and provide details regarding movie timings and seating arrangements.
- Resolve customer complaints and handle queries promptly and professionally.
- Support patrons with disabilities or special requirements throughout their visit.
- Manage the ticketing system, process sales, and print tickets efficiently.
- Accurately handle various forms of payments including cash and credit cards; balance cash registers at shift start and end.
- Prepare and serve snacks and beverages such as popcorn, candies, and drinks while promoting special deals and combos.
- Maintain the concession area’s cleanliness and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
- Verify tickets at the theater entrance and guide attendees to their seats, ensuring the auditorium remains orderly and clean.
- Monitor theater activities during screenings to maintain a pleasant and safe environment.
- Assist with crowd management during peak times or special events.
- Report any facility maintenance or safety concerns swiftly to management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to facilitate smooth cinema operations.
- Engage actively in team meetings, trainings, and assist during special promotions or events.
Education and Eligibility
Applicants should have successfully completed 12th grade or possess a graduation degree.
