Overview

The Guest Environment Expert at Courtyard by Marriott plays a vital role in creating a unique and memorable guest experience by maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and overall appearance. This non-management position involves a broad range of housekeeping responsibilities, such as responding to guest requests, restocking carts, cleaning rooms and public areas, and other related duties to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform various housekeeping tasks to uphold the hotel's cleanliness and aesthetic standards.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests related to housekeeping services.
• Maintain and restock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
• Clean guest rooms and public spaces diligently and efficiently.
• Execute manual tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 pounds) without assistance.
• Contribute to creating a safe workplace by adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance, communication, and confidentiality at all times.

Job Requirements and Work Conditions

• Ability to remain on feet and move (stand, sit, or walk) for extended periods.
• Physically capable of performing manual tasks associated with housekeeping duties.
